"Best Art Gallery" 

We are beyond honored (and still a little speechless!) to share that Rosenquist Fine Art was a finalist for Best Art Gallery in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Community Choice Awards!

To be sandwiched between the incredible Milwaukee Art Museum and the beautiful Saint Kate Arts Hotel is something we never could have imagined. These are iconic arts organizations that we admire and respect, and to find our little gallery in South Milwaukee in such amazing company is truly humbling.

When we opened our doors just 3 years ago, our dream was simple: create a welcoming space where people could experience original art, discover talented artists, and build community through creativity. Every exhibition, every event, every conversation, and every person who has walked through our doors has helped make that dream a reality.

This recognition belongs just as much to our exhibiting artists, collectors, visitors, friends, volunteers, and everyone who has supported us along the way. Thank you for believing in what we're building.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for voting, for visiting, and for proving that a small, independent neighborhood gallery can stand alongside some of the biggest names in the arts.

“Edge of Earth & Ember”

Rosenquist Fine Art invites you to experience Edge of Earth and Ember, a new exhibition that brings together two exceptional local artists whose work explores transformation, resilience, and the elemental forces that shape our world. June Vaughn creates ceramics and mixed media paintings and Sylvan Fern Gray is an oil painter.

This exhibition reflects the spirit of our gallery. It honors the power of artists who look closely at the land beneath us and the fire that drives change. Their paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works create a space where earth and ember meet, where boundaries soften, and where new forms rise from the glow.

We welcome you to join us for an evening that celebrates local vision and the creative energy of our community. Come see work that is bold, luminous, and deeply rooted in the stories of this place.

MKE Studio Tour 2026!

Rosenquist Fine Art is a host site for the third time this year for the MKE Studio Tour. Visit the working studio of owner, Shelly Rosenquist at Rosenquist Fine Art and her two guest artists for the Tour, Larry Anderson and Diane Evans, who will have their works displayed in the back gallery. Please also stay to enjoy the front gallery exhibition, "Edge of Earth & Ember," featuring the works of June Vaughn (another Wisconsin Craft member) and Sylvan Fern Gray.

The MKE Studio Tour is a free, self-guided driving tour that gives visitors the rare opportunity to step inside working artist studios across Milwaukee County. Unlike a traditional gallery, you'll experience where ideas become finished artwork, meet artists in their creative spaces, ask questions about their techniques, watch demonstrations at select locations, and purchase artwork directly from the makers.
